About Us

At Windermere Early Learning centre we believe the children are resourceful, inquisitive, and capable of learning through their early childhood experiences. To support the children in our care, our educators will develop relationships with each child, supporting them in learning, researching, and imagining throughout their play. We will foster your child’s moral development and place an emphasis on cooperation, self control, patience and communication.
While in our care we will support your child in each area of development as well as their wellbeing, play and playfulness, communication and literacies, and diversity and social responsibility. Our educators will provide experiences based on the children’s interests that the children can explore. These could be a centre during free play, a craft or activity at the table, exploring the community around us, a game, circle time activity and so much more! These activities are set up and changed as the children’s interests grow, evolve and develop.
An important part of our program is developing and nurturing relationships with the children and families. We believe strong partnerships with families best support the children in our care. We have an open-door policy for our families and invite them to share and participate in all our activities. The children especially love when parents come to read a story, play a game, share their culture, etc.
